Presenter: Dr Sonu Bhaskar
Dr Sonu Bhaskar is a clinician scientist and academic neurologist with a specialisation in vascular neurology and neuroradiology with research interests in global neurology, neuroimaging and health systems. He is the two-time winner of the recently awarded prestigious European Academy of Neurology 2019 Investigator Award and Rotary Vocational Excellence Award 2020. He is passionate about reducing health disparities with a focus on vulnerable populations and under-resourced settings.
Facilitator: Professor Murray Killingsworth
Murray Killingsworth is Head of Electron Microscopy in the Department of Anatomical Pathology of New South Wales Health Pathology, Liverpool. He is a Conjoint Associate Professor in the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University. His research career spans four decades and has been dedicated to understanding disease pathogenesis in inflammation, cancer, and more recently, with Dr Sonu Bhaskar, stroke.
